What Kids Know and How You Can Tell
As CASAs, we need to figure out how kids feel and what they believe. Some kids can tell us directly. But many cannot because they’re too young to have a good expressive vocabulary; or, they’re shy or scared or distrustful; or, they’re angry; or, they just don’t feel like it. What then do we do? This workshop will describe basic modalities and tools for understanding children and offer specific suggestions about what to look for.
