Manuel is a shy boy who loves building things with whatever materials he has access to, including blocks, Lincoln Logs, or Minecraft on his Resource Mom’s computer. His wish is to receive one of the amazing Lego sets!
Nayeli is a high school junior in the gifted and talented arts program of her high school. She would like to take an additional painting class and will also need special supplies.
Jeremiah is active and adventurous. His resource parents think it’s time for him to learn some basic water safety and swim strokes and would like him to start this winter to prepare him for the summer.
Amara is living with her maternal grandmother until an adoptive family is found to be able to care for her special medical needs. She was born with severe developmental delays and cerebral palsy. Grandmother is requesting a stroller to take Amara on walks and to the park.

Joaquin and Josephina came to the US to escape the gangs and poverty of Honduras. They are both highly motivated to advance their education and learn English. Living in a residential facility with no relatives or support system, CASA is trying to provide weekly ESL sessions through Cognitutor.
Through our Fostering Futures Programs, we provide teens in need with cellphones and monthly phone cards for calls and texts. This allows our youth to remain safe, connected, and able to communicate, reducing the effects of the ‘digital divide’ and facilitating responsible use of technology.
David is a high school sophomore with an IEP to address his dyslexia and ADD, and a diagnosis of anxiety. He is bright and motivated but his CASA noticed he struggles with his homework. She recommended weekly tutoring. Already his grades have improved, and David reports his anxiety has lessened.
