X-WR-CALDESC:Teen Speak NJ is a workshop series that was developed to comba
 t the rising teen mental health crisis. Developed by Dr. Jennifer Salerno 
 and part of a NJ Department of Health-supported initiative\, Teen Speak eq
 uips CASAs and caregivers with the tools and confidence to have open\, eff
 ective conversations with teens about some of the toughest topics they fac
 e today such as mental health\, substance use\, and sexual health.\n \nTee
 n Speak uses motivational interviewing strategies to help parents/caregive
 rs build strong relationships and guide their teens toward safer\, more in
 formed decisions. Through interactive sessions\, participants will learn h
 ow to maintain open and nonjudgemental communication\, gain confidence in 
 addressing risk behaviors\, and create a safe environment that fosters con
 nection and trust with their teen. \n\nThis 4 hour workshop will be presen
 ted in-person on  Tuesday\,  Oct. 14 from 10:00 AM to 12:00  and on Tuesda
 y\,  October 21  from 10:00 AM to 12:00 in our CASA office
