Qualifications of a CASA Volunteer

  • Interest in children, their rights, and special needs
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to pass state and federal background checks and a Child Abuse Registry Information (CARI) check
  • Have 4 favorable references from sources other than relatives
  • Able to complete CASA's training program

There are currently no more information sessions for 2019. New dates will be added after the holiday season.
