Lisa Barsky Firkser, PhD

Dr. Lisa Barsky Firkser joined CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties in March 2009.  Lisa came to CASA after over twenty five years in the healthcare field, as a leader in pediatric outpatient care for children with special needs. She has spearheaded several new programs and helped to establish non-profit organizations and pediatric clinics. Lisa earned a doctorate degree from New York University in Rehabilitation and holds a Masters Degree in Audiology as well as undergraduate degrees in Special Education and Speech-Language Pathology. Lisa has published numerous articles and presented workshops and seminars around the United States and in Canada. She lives in Springfield with her husband and daughter.
